..look after your Charger
The chargers used with all PowaKaddy products are specially designed to charge the battery at optimum levels. The unit is very simple to use - simply plug the charger into the battery and switch on the mains. Follow these simple rules and you should have trouble free charging. Before using the charger, read all the instructions and cautionary markings on the rear of the charging unit and instructions supplied.
PowaKaddy Charger
Do not expose the charger to any form of moisture. Place on a hard surface in a well ventilated area.
Do not use in a sealed container or cover the ventilation slots, and do not operate the charger on carpet or similar soft material.
Do not operate the charger with a damaged mains lead or output lead, never attempt to shorten or alter the output lead.
If your charger does develop a fault, do not disassemble the unit as this may result in a risk of electric shock or fire. The unit does not contain any user serviceable parts.
Do not operate the charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped or damaged in any way, please contact your local service agent for checking.
It is very important that you make sure that you connect the battery to the charging unit before switching the mains supply on. Failure to do this could result in an electrical spark.
With the mains on, the red "power " light and amber "charging" lights will illuminate. When the battery is fully charged the green "ready" light will illuminate and the charging light will extinguish.
Leave the charger switched on and connected to the battery until such time as you require the battery, this will keep it fully charged.
Switch the charger off before you disconnect the battery.
If you disconnect the battery or interrupt the power supply the charger will automatically assume that a different battery has been attached and take it through the 6.5 hour charging cycle again.
Do's
- Always charge the battery with its lid uppermost.
- Always connect the battery to the charger before connecting to the mains.
- Always put your battery on charge as soon as you return from the golf club.
- Always keep your battery on charge all the time it is not being used.
- Always have your charger regularly checked. (Ideally each time you buy a new battery)
- Always keep your battery and charger in a dry place.
- Always recharge your battery after every round, even if you have only played 5 holes.
- Always charge in a well ventilated area.
Dont's
- Never play more than 18 holes of golf from one charge.
- Never drop the battery or allow it to roll around in your car boot.
- Never leave the charger switched off with the battery connected.
- Never operate the charger with a damaged lead.
- Never expose the charger to moisture.
- Never fully discharge the battery.
- Never leave the battery in a discharged condition; recharge as soon as possible.

..cuidar su cargador
Los cargadores empleados en todos los productos PowaKaddy están especialmente concebidos para cargar la batería a niveles óptimos. La unidad es muy sencilla de utilizar, simplemente conecte el cargador a la batería y encienda las tomas de alimentación. Siga estas sencillas instrucciones y no tendrá ningún problema durante el proceso de carga. Antes de utilizar el cargador, lea detenidamente todas las instrucciones y las imágenes de precaución situadas en la parte posterior de la unidad del cargador y en las instrucciones proporcionadas con él.
PowaKaddy Cargador
Mantenga el cargador alejado de la humedad. Colóquelo sobre una superficie dura y una zona ventilada.
No lo utilice en un contenedor cerrado, no cubra las ranuras de ventilación ni lo haga funcionar sobre una alfombra u otra superficie de material similar.
No utilice el cargador si el cable de alimentación o el de salida están dañados ni intente acortar o alterar el cable de salida.
Si su cargador falla, no desmonte la unidad dado que podría producirse un incendio o podría sufrir una descarga eléctrica. La unidad no contiene ninguna pieza que el usuario pueda reparar.
No utilice el cargador si ha sufrido un fuerte golpe, si se ha caído o está en algún modo dañado. Póngase en contacto con su servicio de asistencia técnica para que lo revise.
Es muy importante que se asegure de conectar la batería al cargador antes de encender las tomas de alimentación. En caso contrario, se podría producir una chispa eléctrica.
Con el conector encendido, se encenderán los pilotos luminosos de carga de colores rojo y ámbar. Cuando la batería está completamente cargada, se iluminará el piloto de color verde y la luz de carga se apagará.
Deje el cargador encendido y conectado a la batería siempre que vaya a utilizarla, esto le permitirá mantener la batería siempre cargada.
Apague el cargador antes de desconectar la batería.
Si desconecta la batería o interrumpe la alimentación eléctrica, el cargador entenderá automáticamente que se ha conectado una batería diferente e iniciará nuevamente el ciclo de carga de 6,5 horas.
Haga
- Cargue siempre la batería con la tapa hacia arriba.
- Conecte siempre la batería al cargador antes de conectarlo a las tomas de alimentación.
- Ponga siempre a cargar la batería tan pronto como regrese del campo de golf.
- Mantenga la batería cargando siempre que no la vaya a utilizar.
- Haga que le revisen periódicamente el cargador (aconsejamos que lo haga siempre que adquiera una nueva batería)
- Guarde siempre la batería y el cargador en un lugar seco.
- Recargue siempre la batería después de cada uso, aunque sólo haya jugado 5 hoyos.
- Cargue siempre la batería en una zona ventilada.
No Haga
- Nunca juegue más de 18 hoyos con una sola carga de batería.
- No deje nunca caer la batería ni la deje suelta en el maletero del vehículo.
- Nunca deje el cargador apagado con la batería conectada.
- Nunca utilice el cargador si el cable está dañado.
- Nunca exponga el cargador a la humedad.
- Nunca descargue totalmente la batería.
- Nunca deje la batería descargada, recárguela tan pronto como sea posible.
